Server Rules

Rules Notice
These rules protect fair, realistic and enjoyable roleplay across 44th County. Staff may update, interpret or enforce them where needed. Punishments are at staff discretion and — depending on severity, intent and impact — may include warnings, kicks, temporary or permanent bans, character wipes, asset removal or faction/business consequences.
1. General Community Rules
- ›Treat every player with respect. Harassment, trolling, racism, homophobia, sexism, discrimination and targeted abuse are not tolerated.
- ›Do not encourage, pressure or assist another player in breaking rules. Helping someone rule break can result in similar punishment.
- ›You must have a working, clear microphone and be able to communicate properly during live roleplay.
- ›Erotic roleplay, sexual content, nudity, explicit images or lewd material are prohibited on all 44th County platforms.
- ›Roleplay involving real-world tragedies, terrorism, pandemics, suicide, serious mental-health depictions or sensitive real-life events is prohibited unless explicitly approved for a controlled staff event.
- ›Roleplay should continue unless all parties involved agree to pause or stop, or staff instructs otherwise through the correct channel.
- ›Offensive, explicit or immersion-breaking names are not allowed. Staff may require a name change without notice.
- ›Do not attack, harass or brigade people on external platforms such as Discord, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X/Twitter or other communities.
- ›Content creators are responsible for moderating their communities where those communities interact with 44th County.
- ›Copyrighted music, movies or protected content must not be played in-game or on official platforms unless you have the correct rights.
2. Accounts, Donations & Character Standards
Account Rules
- ›You are responsible for all activity on your account. Account sharing, careless security or misuse may still lead to consequences.
- ›Buying, selling or trading accounts, characters, items, money, vehicles or properties outside official systems is prohibited.
- ›If you lose access to your Discord or game account, staff are not required to transfer allowlist status, assets or perks to another account.
- ›Chargebacks, payment abuse or attempts to bypass official payment systems may lead to removal and may not be appealable.
Donation Rules
- ›Donation perks, purchases and supporter items belong to the account or character they were assigned to at purchase, unless staff state otherwise.
- ›Donation items may not be sold, traded or used to create unfair roleplay advantages.
- ›Refund requests, if allowed, must be made through official support channels within the stated refund window.
- ›Being banned for rule breaches does not guarantee refund eligibility.
Character Rules
- ›Characters must be believable within the setting of 44th County. Meme names and troll concepts may be rejected.
- ›Keep characters separate — they must not share knowledge, assets, gang info, property locations, relationships or grudges unless discovered naturally in RP.
- ›Multiple characters from one player may not support the same gang, crew, business conflict or criminal circle.
- ›Government-style roles (police, corrections, justice, EMS) must maintain integrity. Serious corruption or abusing job tools is prohibited unless approved.
- ›In-character recording devices may be used as evidence; otherwise recordings are not automatic in-character evidence.
- ›Inactivity may result in removal of unused properties, businesses or vehicles so active players can use them.
- ›Complete character creation before serious roleplay. Default or unfinished appearances may be addressed.
3. Cheating, Exploiting & Game Modifications
Modifications & Macros
- ›Cheats, injectors, trainers, teleport tools, speed boosts, recoil removal, unfair crosshairs or any advantage-giving modification are prohibited.
- ›Visual mods are allowed only if they do not create an advantage or harm server balance.
- ›Macros, scripts or automated inputs used to farm, bypass AFK checks or gain an advantage are prohibited.
- ›Convenience keybinds may be allowed, but must not automate roleplay, combat or money-making.
Bug Abuse & Exploits
- ›Do not exploit bugs, broken mechanics, duplicated items, spawn behaviour or server/client glitches.
- ›Any advantage gained through exploits may be removed, including money, items, properties and progress.
- ›Camping predictable spawns or repeatedly farming broken mechanics is exploitation.
- ›Report bugs through the correct support channel as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Communication, OOC Conduct & Reports
Communication
- ›Players must communicate clearly in English during live roleplay so scenes flow and staff can moderate fairly.
- ›Advertising other GTA/FiveM communities or recruiting players away from 44th County is prohibited.
- ›Cyber threats, doxxing, account threats, blackmail or malicious links result in severe action.
- ›Do not spam commands, /me messages, chat, soundboards or voice chat.
- ›In-character insults must stay believable. OOC abuse, slurs, death threats or harassment are prohibited.
- ›Be respectful when dealing with staff. Bad-faith arguments or derailing moderation may result in removal.
OOC & Immersion
- ›OOC conversations belong in Discord or tickets, not in-game.
- ›Do not use immersion-breaking phrases such as "server", "admin", "city rules", "head popped" or "in my head" during roleplay.
- ›Continue roleplay around bugs where possible, then report the issue afterwards.
Reports
- ›Use the official ticket system for reports, appeals and staff concerns.
- ›The in-game report command is for urgent issues only and does not replace a proper ticket.
- ›Only directly involved players should report in-character rule breaks unless the issue is serious OOC misconduct or community safety.
- ›Do not privately message staff to pressure them about reports.
5. Crime, Gangs & Criminal Activities
Gang Roleplay
- ›Gangs and crews should have identity, story, goals and meaningful roleplay beyond constant violence.
- ›Verbal interaction and roleplay initiation are expected before shooting or major conflict.
- ›Taxing, protection and territory disputes must be roleplayed with effort — lazy "pull up and aim" interactions are low-quality RP.
- ›Staff may restrict, pause or remove gang privileges if a group repeatedly damages roleplay quality.
Criminal Activity Limits
- ›Unless approved otherwise, criminal activities are limited to six criminals directly involved.
- ›Only the people who start a scenario may provide support, lookouts, radio or combat help until it ends.
- ›Separate groups may not secretly cooperate to bypass group limits.
- ›Fake hostages are prohibited. Hostages must be genuine and part of real roleplay.
- ›Do not force victims to use ATMs, banks, phones, crafting benches or shops to transfer value.
- ›Players may not force someone to sell a house, vehicle, business or other major asset.
- ›Crime is prohibited 30 minutes before and after a scheduled restart; wait 15 minutes after an unscheduled crash.
- ›Robbing government employees purely for equipment or personal gain is prohibited.
6. Core Roleplay Rules
RDM, VDM & Initiation
- ›RDM — attacking or killing without valid in-character reason and proper roleplay — is prohibited.
- ›VDM — using a vehicle as a weapon without valid justification — is prohibited.
- ›Before violent conflict, verbally initiate, create context and allow the scene to develop.
- ›You may defend yourself if clearly threatened, attacked, or if your property is damaged.
- ›Vehicles must be used realistically — excessive ramming or bumper-car combat is low-quality RP.
New Life Rule
- ›NLR applies when you are incapacitated and later respawn or receive hospital treatment.
- ›After being incapacitated, do not return to the same scene area for 30 minutes.
- ›After being incapacitated, do not take hostile action against the responsible party for 60 minutes.
- ›If a scene ends while you are downed, do not return to collect evidence, loot bodies or continue the conflict.
Combat & RP Logging
- ›Do not disconnect, respawn or leave a roleplay/combat situation to avoid consequences.
- ›If you crash, make a genuine effort to reconnect and continue the scene.
- ›Do not use emotes, animations or ragdoll actions during combat to gain an advantage.
7. Metagaming, Powergaming & Consent-Based RP
Metagaming
- ›Using information gained outside roleplay (streams, Discord calls, name tags, clips, DMs) to benefit your character is prohibited.
- ›Stream sniping or using external information to locate people is prohibited.
- ›Third-party voice comms may not be used for active in-character coordination while connected.
- ›Accidental metagaming must be corrected immediately; intentional metagaming is treated seriously.
Powergaming
- ›Do not force outcomes, use mechanics that do not exist, or remove another player’s reasonable choice.
- ›/me should describe attempts, not force success.
- ›Spam jumping, melee spamming, dragging players to avoid RP, or unrealistic vehicle flipping are prohibited.
- ›Do not force a player to transfer keys, ownership, assets or money where they cannot fairly respond.
Torture & Sensitive RP
- ›Torture roleplay requires clear consent from all involved parties before it begins.
- ›If any participant indicates discomfort or withdraws consent, the scene must stop or change direction immediately.
- ›Consent-based roleplay must not be used to pressure, shame or trap another player.
8. Prison, Business & Private Discord Rules
Prison
- ›Lifers and long-term prisoners must respect the prison roleplay they chose. Prison breaks require staff approval unless a system allows them.
- ›Roleplay as if prison staff and security exist, even when no DOC players are online.
- ›EMS may transport prisoners for medical needs where appropriate.
Business & Factions
- ›Businesses should create roleplay opportunities, not only money-making loops.
- ›Business owners are responsible for their employees’ conduct while representing the business.
- ›Factions and businesses may lose privileges if they repeatedly ignore standards or exploit mechanics.
Private Discords
- ›Any 44th County-related Discord with in-character channels must follow 44th County rules.
- ›Owners must clearly mark which channels are in-character and which are out-of-character.
- ›Staff may request access to relevant private Discords for moderation or compliance checks.
9. Roleplay Quality, FailRP & Value of Life
Quality
- ›All scenes should aim to be immersive, believable and enjoyable for everyone involved.
- ›Cop baiting, hospital camping, body disrespect and drama baiting are low-quality roleplay.
- ›Avoid "money simulator" gameplay where you ignore interaction and only chase profit.
- ›EMS roleplay should be respected. Refusing medical roleplay without reason may lead to staff action.
Value of Life
- ›Value your character’s life as if it matters. Do not take unreasonable risks just to "win".
- ›If clearly disadvantaged (e.g. a weapon aimed at you while unaware), comply unless a realistic escape exists.
- ›Being heavily outnumbered should affect your choices.
- ›Hostages and captives should behave realistically when threatened.
10. Economy, Vehicles & Aircraft
Economy
- ›Do not create new characters to transfer starter money, assets or items to another character.
- ›Transferring assets between your own characters is prohibited unless explicitly approved.
- ›Do not bypass asset limits, taxes or scripted systems with side payments or loopholes.
- ›Exploiting vehicle sales, business payouts or market mechanics may result in asset removal and bans.
Vehicles
- ›Vehicles should be used realistically according to their type, condition and situation.
- ›Do not use unrealistic builds or unfair handling setups for combat or criminal link-ups.
- ›Ocean dumping or destroying vehicles without roleplay reason is low-quality RP.
- ›Vehicle keys, ownership and impounds must be handled through proper in-character systems.
Aircraft
- ›Aircraft use is a privilege and must be realistic.
- ›Aircraft may not be used to easily avoid police, hot-drop into gang wars or shortcut criminal conflict unless a role supports it.
- ›Aircraft should mainly be used for transport, reconnaissance, emergency services or island travel.
11. Staff Decisions & Final Notes
- ›Staff decisions are based on context, evidence, intent, player history and impact on the community.
- ›Loopholes are not protection. If an action clearly damages roleplay or fairness, staff may still act.
- ›Rules may be updated without notice. Players are expected to keep up with official announcements.
- ›Appeals, reports and questions must go through the correct ticket system.
- ›The goal of 44th County is simple: serious roleplay, fair conflict, strong stories and a community people enjoy returning to.
